What does change your leg line is the height of the heel. As the heel gains centimetres in height, your body will accommodate this by reshaping itself to balance its centre.

But do remember, avoid wearing heels too often as you’ll shorten your achilles, damage the joints and cause chronic back pain. Says my physiotherapist husband!

Firstly a simple test for finding the best skirt links for your body type:
Stand in front of the mirror and wear shoes you would normally wear, then hold a piece of fabric and raise the hem up or down to a place where you feel is most flattering. Then start buying skirts at that length.

Secondly, you need to understand your body shape.
If you have short legs, avoid any shoes that cut you off at the ankles. These include t-bars, ankle boots and ankle straps. Choose an open shoe that elongates the foot, as this will extend your leg line.

If you choose a heel that is in a nude colour, this again will elongate your leg line.
