We have dined at Cafe Sydney for a long lunch and set intentions for the year, we have played fun & thought provoking games, danced with the energetic Lizzie WIlliamson, We have “brunched” at the Iconic Boy Chalrton pool overlooking the water, have filled ourselves with berry smoothies, sips of Veuve champagne, eaten good old fashioned burgers and cried as an audience, when our speakers opened up with the raw vulnerability that gives us the strength we all have within us.
Through QueenHood, we aim to make each event be different. We engage with 3 speakers all on different topics that round out one common theme, some of our favourites have been “What Not To Say”, “Perception: What You Think You See”, KINGHOOD- Mentors, Fathers, Men that recently launched & was a huge success inviting men on to the platform & finally “Seasons” The graceful act of ageing from adolescents, to motherhood and careers.
Starting out in 2016 Elka Whalan (nee Graham) had a dream to bring women together and challenge them to be the best they can throughout their journey as we all ride the rollercoaster of life, To know our worth through the wisdom we learn along the way.
