Looking to escape the city hustle, find your zen and recharge your batteries? It may just be worth your while to check out one of these fabulous locations in and around Sydney.
CLAIREVILLE
This quaint little oasis found on the northern coastal beach region of the city overlooks Pittwater. Located a short 45km from Sydney CBD. Pack a picnic, find a beautiful tree and be free. We recently spent the day here with friends and had such a magical time. We hired stand up paddle boards which we all enjoyed, including the children. The water is amazing and perfect conditions for snorkelling, swimming and a picnic. A MUST day trip for those wishing to tune off to the cities hustle and in search of plenty of rest and relaxation.
LANE COVE NATIONAL PARK
Within close vicinity to Sydney’s city centre, this makes for a wonderful day out. Exploring historic sites along nature walks and bird watching or why not hire a canoe or paddleboat and enjoy the Lane Cove River? This is a wonderful place for a family day out and picnic.
CLIFTON GARDENS
Located in the suburb of Mosman in Sydney, is a perfect place to spend a day with the family. With wonderful parklands, playground facilities for the children, beaches and kiosks, as well as wonderful walks including the Bradleys Head to Chowder Bay walk with beautiful views of Sydney Harbour from the Headlands of Taronga Zoo to Chowder Bay.

With just only over an hour drive from Sydney, the Blue Mountains makes for a wonderful day trip. So many scenic things to see such as the Three Sisters and the incredible views of the Megalong Valley.
